This event took place at 613 Au Co campus on 8th September 2016. The two schools signed several agreements as follows:
Van Hien University and Coleman College will collaborate in the Diploma in International Hotel Management (DIHM) and Diploma in International Tourism Management (DITM). In the first period, VHU will educate some courses and give the certificates to the students as well as preparing English skills for them before they come to Coleman College in Singapore. Then, Coleman College will accept the certificates from VHU and get VHU students to continue their Diploma programs. After finishing their courses, the students will be sent to intern at companies in Singapore in 6 months with salaries. Finally, Coleman College will give the international diplomas to all the students who successfully complete their educational programs. If the students want to get a higher education, they will follow the Advanced Diploma program and transition courses at international universities in the UK, Australia, etc. In addition, Coleman College committed to supporting international students in getting student visas and other necessary services to help them quickly adapt to the international learning environment.
Through this collaboration, the students could reduce their pressure in school fees and costs of living when studying in Singapore. Simultaneously, VHU students will have more opportunities for professional study and intern that follow international standards, meeting strict requirements from international employers.
